HAUTE COUTURE. THE DEATH OF A DREAM.

It all started with Valentino saying goodbye, then Christian Lacroix, then Galliano. The next thing we know is Jean Paul Gaultier going for minimalism or giving up fashion or retiring or (god forbid! may it not happen) dies!... and then Karl, he whether you like his work or not, he knows how to work couture... if he dies... IT'LL BE THE END OF COUTURE.

Of course we have newborns like Giambattista Valli and re-born House of Worth... but they are not pat of my heart yet... I grew up admiring Galliano and he's gone, and now Raf Simons is going to try to bring the house that I love the most to the 21 century... It's going to be a mess and I just don't want to see that.

If fashion ever decides to go for good, happy, artistic, theatrical fashion, I'll be there waiting for it, making it happen.
